MESSAGE FROM THE CHIEF OF POLICE
Welcome to the City of Fountain Valley Police Department's Official Website!
As your Police Chief, my primary concern is maintaining public safety and providing excellent service for the many residents and visitors of our great City. I began my law enforcement career as a Fountain Valley Police Recruit in 1988. I have seen many changes in our City; but one thing remains constant, your Police Department's commitment to time-honored values. I am grateful to serve as your Chief and to represent Police professionals who are dedicated to your safety.
Among our priorities are to get accurate, useable information to the public. Please consider signing up for a free email subscription to our Neighborhood Watch Newsletter and crime bulletin. You also may choose to follow us on Facebook. These are two ways residents can receive an accurate picture of criminal activity in their neighborhood. We rely on your eyes and ears; please don't hesitate to call when you see something suspicious. Dial 911--that's why we're here!
If there is anything you think I should know, please feel free to give me a call or email. Your Police Department is committed to being responsive to your requests. Thanks for the support you give your Police Department; we appreciate it!
Chief Daniel S. Llorens
