Injury Traffic Collision

On 10-03-12 at approximately at 4:30 PM, the Fountain Valley Police Department responded to the intersection of Talbert Avenue and Mt. Washington Street regarding a traffic collision involving a passenger vehicle and a motorcyclist. Officers arrived and found an injured female motorcyclist and summoned paramedics to the scene. Paramedics transported the motorcyclist to a local hospital for a traumatic leg injury.

On Monday, October 1, 2012 at 0716 hours, the Fountain Valley Police Department responded to a subject trapped under a recreational vehicle on Lawson River, east of Ward Street in the City of Fountain Valley. Following their arrival, officers observed an unresponsive 48-year-old male victim trapped under a large Winnebago RV.

Fountain Valley, CA – The Fountain Valley Police Department Traffic Unit will be conducting a DUI/Drivers License checkpoint on Friday September 21st, 2012, between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. The location of the checkpoint will be made available the day of the checkpoint by contacting the police department.

On Sunday, September 9, 2012 at approximately 4:14am, a Fountain Valley Police officer observed a white 1995 Nissan Maxima exiting a commercial complex in the area of Harbor Blvd and Heil Ave. The driver was operating the vehicle with no lights on and began traveling a high rate of speed after turning northbound onto Harbor Blvd. The commercial complex has no open businesses at that time of the morning and has experienced burglaries in the...
