POLICE TO TARGET UNSAFE BICYCLE RIDERS DURING SUMMER MONTHS

The Fountain Valley Police Department calls upon bicycle riders and motorists alike to be cautious during the month of June, and throughout the summer months. The total number of bicycle deaths in California has remained flat for the last two reporting years, while injuries have increased 4.6 percent. On Thursday May 10, 2012, the Fountain Valley Police Department responded to the 17300 block of San Luis regarding a child abduction. Investigation revealed Georgina Garcia responded to great grandmother's residence and took the 3yr old victim as a result of a custody dispute.
