Records Bureau

FVPD Records

The Records Bureau consists of seven Records Specialists, along with two volunteers who work a few hours each week with filing and citation entry. Records personnel are responsible for:

  • Processing all reports and preparing all court packages when necessary.
  • Entering all report information into the computer mainframe for access by all State agencies, working in conjunction with the Department of Justice and court systems.
  • Maintaining all arrest records and Field Interview cards.
  • Releasing stored vehicles.
  • Maintaining on-going flow of citations.
  • Assisting in Officer/Detective requests.
  • Duplicating records for insurance purposes.
  • Assisting the Front Desk.
