COMMERCIAL BURGLARY ARRESTS | |
| At approximately 11:53 PM, Monday, August 24th, Fountain Valley P.D. Patrol units were dispatched to the Sprint PCS store at 18637 Brookhurst St. regarding a possible burglary in progress. An area resident reported hearing glass breaking, and, being aware of a previous burglary at the business, looked out her window from a nearby Condo and observed the crime in progress. The resident notified FVPD dispatchers and units were on scene in less than two minutes. Arriving units observed the smashed window of the store and a vehicle leaving the area. The vehicle was stopped without incident a short distance away and the subsequent investigation resulted in three male adults being arrested. Geovanny E. Nunez, 29, Wilmington; Francis O. Escoto, 30, Los Angeles and Jose A. Nunez, 25, Wilmington, were all arrested for burglary, possession of stolen property and possession of burglary tools and booked into Orange County jail. Bail was initially set at $20,000.00 each. The investigation is continuing by FVPD Detectives and anyone with any additional information is asked to contact investigators at 714-593-4485. | |
