U.S. MARINE'S PROPERTY STOLEN | |
| On Wednesday, 11/18/2009 Christopher Erwin, a 29 year-old Corporal with 2nd Battalion 11th Marine Regiment of the United States Marine Corps, reported his vehicle was broken into in the area of San Mateo St. and Slater Ave. He parked his 2006 Jeep Wrangler in this area on Tuesday, 11/17/2009 at approximately 11 PM. When he returned to his vehicle Wednesday at approximately 3:30 PM he discovered someone had removed a portion of the soft top to gain access to the interior of the vehicle. The suspect(s) stole Erwin’s USMC dress uniforms, service awards, medals and other miscellaneous items, valued at approximately $600. Corporal Erwin’s property is very unique and identifiable. The FVPD is requesting the public’s assistance in recovering the property and apprehending the suspect(s) responsible.
