INJURY TRAFFIC COLLISION INVESTIGATION | |
| On December 5th, 2009 at approximately 2:11 AM, Fountain Valley Police officers responded to a traffic collision on Ward Street south of Talbert Ave. Preliminary investigation revealed a Silver Ford Explorer had been involved in a single vehicle collision on the 405 overpass. The vehicle was being driven by Danielle Everman, 18 years old, from Fountain Valley. Everman hit the west curb of Ward and then overcorrected and collided with the guardrail on the overpass of the 405 Freeway. As a result of the collision, Everman’s passenger was severely injured and transported to an area trauma center. Subsequent investigation by the Fountain Valley Police Traffic Bureau revealed Everman had been driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage at the time of the collision. Due to the fact Everman was driving under the influence which resulted in a traffic collision causing severe injury to another person, Everman was arrested by FVPD for Felony DUI on Wednesday, January 6th 2010. Everman was booked at FVPD and released on $100,000 bail. | |
